Car history: |
Original, unrestored, documented 1972 LT-1 in great condition. The trim tag and engine numbers are all correct and the originals from the factory. This unique 1972 Corvette LT-1 has mostly all of its original paint and the complete original interior, both in good condition. The untouched frame and engine compartment are both great examples of what original is all about. This Corvette retains its original drive train which of course has all matching numbers. This car has its original seat and shoulder harness belts, 2 of its 4 T-3 headlights, the original dated T-top covers and T-top hold down straps, the original jack and jack tools, its original spare tire, which has never been used, and all the original window and windshield glass in great condition. This very cool Corvette is only one of 1741 LT-1 produced in 1972 and features power steering and power brakes. This Corvette has had only 2 owners and some important documentation including the original Bill of Sale, the first day inspection sheet, the mechanic's inspection receipt and the consumer information pamphlet which are all included with the car. Also old registrations and copies of old titles are included as well. The LT-1 Holley carburator has been rebuilt and the car runs great. The Build date was J02 (May 2nd) and the trim tag lists the paint 946 and trim 400. Engine numbers are 12S520304 VO418CKY. Overall a very nice, documented 1972 LT-1 Corvette in great unrestored condition. Hemmings Motor News predicts all the 1970, 71, and 72 LT-1(s) to greatly appreciate in value, possibly to the $100,000. range! 69,697 miles. Mrch 17, 2008. |
